Seven airlines fly the route nonstop, most of them multiple times a day, and that competition is why London fares move more than almost any other European destination. Select Business Class is a travel agency that works with all of them. We book published and unpublished business class and first class fares for travelers flying from the US, and we do it for less than you'll find on the airline's own site. Here is what you need to know if you want to fly business class to London for less.
| From | Airlines | Flight time | Round trip |
|---|---|---|---|
| New York (JFK) | Nonstop: British Airways (JFK, EWR), Virgin Atlantic, Delta, American Airlines, JetBlue, United (from EWR) | about 6h 55m | from $1,597* |
| Los Angeles (LAX) | Nonstop: British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, United | about 10h 20m | from $2,144* |
| Chicago (ORD) | Nonstop: American Airlines, British Airways, United | about 8h 5m | from $1,791* |
| Miami (MIA) | Nonstop: American Airlines, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic | about 9h | from $1,795* |
| Denver (DEN) | Nonstop: British Airways, United | about 9h 5m | from $1,878* |

British Airways flies to London from more US cities than anyone else, with flights from New York, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and a dozen more, all into London Heathrow (LHR). The cabin is called Club World on older planes and Club Suite on newer ones, a lie-flat seat with a sliding door that's gradually replacing the older seat on US routes. BA also has a first class cabin on its busiest routes, so we quote first class to London as well.
Virgin Atlantic flies to Heathrow from New York, Boston, Washington, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Its Upper Class is a fully flat bed with an onboard bar on most aircraft, and it's the cabin our clients mention most in reviews. On the New York and Los Angeles routes, Virgin's Upper Class and BA's Club Suite are the two most of our clients end up choosing between.
Delta, United and American all fly lie-flat business class to LHR too. Delta One from New York, Boston, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City and Seattle. United Polaris from Newark, Washington, Chicago, Houston, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco. American Flagship Business from New York, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston and Raleigh.
Two smaller options are worth knowing. JetBlue Mint flies New York and Boston to LHR with a small lie-flat cabin, and it's often the most affordable business class from New York when seats are available. Norse Atlantic flies New York to Gatwick with a Premium cabin that reclines but doesn't lie flat. It isn't business class, but clients ask about it, so our agents let you know when it's the better deal for a daytime flight.
New York to London is the busiest long-haul route in the world. British Airways, Virgin, Delta, American and JetBlue fly from JFK, and BA and United fly from Newark: more than twenty direct flights a day. With that many seats to fill, fares on NYC to London business class change almost hour by hour, and it's the route where an agent's contract fares make the biggest difference. Most departures are overnight and land mid-morning. JFK also has daytime flights if you'd rather sleep at home and arrive in London in the evening.
LAX to London is a ten to eleven hour flight on BA, Virgin, United or American, all lie-flat. SFO to London has BA, Virgin and United. Miami to London has BA, Virgin and American, and Virgin's Orlando and Tampa flights cover the rest of Florida. Chicago to London has BA, United and American from O'Hare, several times a day.
Many major US cities, including Boston, Washington, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Seattle and Philadelphia, have nonstop service to London. For travelers departing from smaller cities, we usually connect through one of these gateways with a short domestic flight and issue the entire itinerary on one ticket, keeping everything under one reservation.
Looking for the cheapest business class flights to London? Cheap business class to London does exist, and there are five things that decide the fare more than anything else.
June through August and the two weeks around Christmas are the most expensive. Late January to March and November are the cheapest, often by a third or more on the same airline and route.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departures price lower than Friday and Sunday, and many discounted business class fares require a Saturday night stay. Business travelers on a short trip should check that before booking.
Two to four months ahead is the sweet spot for booking published fares. Closer in, airlines release unsold seats at short notice, so real last-minute business class flight deals to London do exist. They just can't be planned around.
A connection in Dublin, Reykjavik, Lisbon or a European hub can cut the fare substantially when the nonstop is full. We quote both, so you can decide whether the extra two hours are worth the saving.
Airlines sell part of their business class cabin through contract fares that never appear on their own websites or on flight search engines. Those unpublished fares are what we book, and they're where the savings of up to 70%* on published fares come from.
Send us your route and dates through the form on this page, or call +1 (888) 424-4968. A dedicated agent reaches out with a call to collect your preferences, then comes back with the best deals for your dates, usually two or three options within the hour. You choose your preferred option and fill in the secure booking form, we ticket the reservation, and the confirmation is typically in your inbox within an hour of booking. The same agent handles changes, seat selection and anything that comes up before or after the flight, with 24/7 support by phone.
We are IATAN accredited, registered as a Florida Seller of Travel, and rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot. Round trips are the most common request, but we also book one-way tickets, open-jaw itineraries such as into London and out of Paris, and first class flights to London on British Airways.

FAQ
Can't find your answer? An agent picks up around the clock.
British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Delta, United, American and JetBlue all fly nonstop into LHR with lie-flat seats. Which is best depends on your departure city and dates. Our agents will tell you what's available on yours.
Two to four months ahead is the best general window. However, unpublished fares can be good at any point, including days before departure, so ask us even if the trip is close. We can usually still find the best deals.
Heathrow, for almost everyone flying from the US. Every major carrier uses it, connections are easier, and the Heathrow Express reaches central London in fifteen minutes. Gatwick only matters if you're on Norse or connecting to a European low-cost flight.
Most discounted business class fares are non-refundable. However, many are still changeable, either free of charge or for a fee, depending on the fare rules. Your agent tells you the exact rules before you pay, and can quote a more flexible fare if you need one.
Yes. We can often offer one-way fares close to half the round-trip price, which isn't the case if you try to book directly with the carrier, so a one-way is definitely worth pricing with us.
Once the form with your preferred city pairs and travel dates is submitted, an agent will reach out to gather additional preferences and present the best available options. To secure a flight, simply complete the booking form sent via email.
Absolutely! An agent can personalize your flight to match your preferences, including airlines, schedules, and routes. They can also assist with changes that are often difficult to handle alone, as well as help with seat selection, meal choices, and other special requests.
Absolutely. That’s exactly what sets us apart. We have access to exclusive fares that aren’t available online, thanks to our special contracts with airlines. This allows us to offer highly competitive prices and unique deals you won’t find anywhere else.
Your dedicated agent and our 24/7 customer-care service will assist you with all the questions that you might have after booking a ticket.
On average, tickets are issued and sent to the client’s email within approximately one hour from the moment of the booking. Throughout the process, we provide regular updates to keep you informed and ensure peace of mind.
Most business and first-class tickets offer a high level of flexibility. However, before completing the booking, your agent will inform you of any exchange, refund, or other applicable restrictions, if there are any.
